National Science Olympiad

The party is over and he didn't succeed to pass the examination, but I'm proud of him. The participating students were really tough and they were the cleverest  students from all over Indonesia. The examinations were base on International Olympiad Standard, and that wasn't the same in their regularly examination in their daily school. Most of participants found that the examination were too
difficult,  IMHO they are clever, but the handicap is, we aren't have enough capable teachers to teach them problems base on International Olympiad Standard. And it touched my feeling, because the authority don't get any attention in making our kids more global in solving International examination. Even though they are clever, but they have to get used with International Olympiad Standard problems.

I was happy and honour when attended in NSO because the participants came from all over Indonesia, there were participants from Papua, Ambon, Gorontalo, etc  and they usually came from small area or their hometown are far away from Kalimantan. And the face of their parent were happy and proud to see their kid in big event like this (so was I).

The winners came from "well prepared for this event" school such as Taruna Nusantara-SMU PlusRiau-SMUN 3 Jogya- SMUN Bali, they always can get the medals, and they had experienced in this event. Congrat to YOU, our future is in your hand, so fight for it........

And the most interesting thing for me, they weren't noisy, they were cool, and they were well mannered, maybe that are the sign of smart kids..
